Hurricane Dorian, is an emotive tribute to the victims of monster storm Hurricane Dorian, which devastated two islands in The Bahamas on Sunday, September 1, 2019.

This catastrophic category 5 storm wrecked devastating damage on the islands of Abaco and Grand Bahama, where it made landfall, pummeling the islands for over 48hrs at a mere 1mph.

Author Roderick C. Colebrook, a then resident of Grand Bahama was able to evacuate the island on one of the last flights before it was demolished by 180 +mph winds and 20ft+ storm surges. He immediately returned to assist with the recovery efforts. He was moved to share his tale through a poem of immense pain and sadness. Hurricane Dorian is the haunting voice of Bahamians who have been traumatized by this deadly storm.
